“Family means the opportunity to be real: to be you. Knowing, that no matter what happens, support is there to walk with you through good and bad times.”
Eastern Region Program Coordinator
Candace knew from an early age that she wanted to work with women and children: working with families has become an extension of that passion. She comes from a large family, with supportive parents and siblings. Her faith is what keeps her grounded during tough times and has helped her to make connections with lifetime friends.
She attended Eastern University and achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. From there she worked in child welfare in the Philadelphia area. Through that work, she developed a relationship with Be Strong Families and saw the great impact they were making in the communities they were serving. She is now part of the Eastern Region Team as Program Coordinator and Trainer.
