Rosa Rios has been a part of the Be Strong Families team since November
of 2017. She is the Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator for the
Training Capacity Team. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at
Chicago where she attained her Bachelor of Arts in both Criminology, Law &
Justice and Applied Psychology. Rosa resided within the Humboldt Park
neighborhood for over sixteen years and has recently relocated to the
south side of the city. She is the mother to five young adults. She previously
worked with the Neighborhood Recovery Initiatives (NRI) and their Parent
Leadership in Action Network (PLAN) program in Humboldt Park where she
was originally introduced to the Parent Cafés.
