In 2019, the Be Strong Families Board of Directors voted unanimously to update our organizational bylaws to increase its existing parent representation.  

Parent Leaders weigh in on the organization’s national agenda, bring parent issues to the table, and partner to co-create new trainings and initiatives.  

Our Board of Directors mirrors the early commitment we made to parent engagement, racial justice, and grassroots transformation, one conversation at a time.  

With diverse experiences in education, professional expertise, and life experience, we increase the visibility of family voices from the inside out.
