Last Updated: Feb 20, 2026

Welcome to Be Strong Families (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all users of our website at www.bestrongfamilies.org (“Site”, “website”, “webstore”, or “online store”) and on any direct Payment Links we publish. These Terms govern your access to and use of our products and services, including physical/digital product sales and online/in-person training courses.

By accessing or using the Site, purchasing from us, or participating in our training, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

1. Scope of Services

We offer two primary categories of products and services:

      A. Products

These are primarily tangible goods (e.g., conversation card decks, books, manuals, games, and
gifts) that may be purchased through our Site or via purchase orders with our customer service
      representatives.

      B. Trainings

These include online and in-person learning experiences, such as:

  • Live, online training workshops (such as BSF Institute Trainings)

  • Downloadable course content and support materials

  • Pre-recorded courses or video on-demand (VOD) courses

2. Eligibility

To purchase from our Site or enroll in our trainings:

  • You must be at least 18 years old or have legal parental/guardian consent.

  • You must agree to provide accurate information and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

3. Payment Terms

  • We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods listed at checkout.

  • All charges are in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.

  • Online product orders are processed securely via credit cards, Apple Pay, or PayPal.

  • Online training orders are processed securely via credit cards, Apple Pay, or US bank accounts.

  • Purchase Orders (“PO”) - for both products and BSF Institute trainings - are processed securely via credit cards, Apple Pay, or US bank accounts.

  • Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

o   For product orders, payments are due prior to shipment.

o   For BSF Institute Training orders, payment is required at least two weeks prior to the training start date. Please note that payment must be received before we can provide access to the training registration (Zoom) link.

  • For customized training contracts, refer to specific contracts or Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) for payment terms.

  • If your order requires Net 30 terms or an alternative payment schedule, please contact us in advance to request special approval.

  • Any prices and terms confirmed in a Quote are valid only for the duration specified in that Quote.

4. Sales Tax

A. Sales Tax Collection

Be Strong Families is required to collect sales tax in accordance with applicable U.S. state and local tax laws. Sales tax will be calculated based on the shipping address and applicable tax rates at the time of purchase.

We currently collect sales tax in states where we have a tax nexus, which may include physical presence, economic nexus, or other thresholds as defined by each state. These thresholds include sales fulfilled through our online shop, purchase orders, or in-person sales at training events and conferences.

A billing address and a shipping address are required for all sales.

B. Sales Tax-Exempt Purchases

If you are a tax-exempt organization or reseller, please
contact us before placing your order to provide valid documentation (e.g., a sales tax exemption certificate). Once verified, we can process your order tax-free or refund any tax collected in error.

We reserve the right to reject tax-exempt claims that are incomplete, unverifiable, or inconsistent with state laws.

C. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

·       Any applicable taxes not collected by us at the time of purchase (e.g., use tax in your state)

·       Reporting and remitting those taxes to the appropriate state or local authority

·       Ensuring your provided information (including billing and shipping information) is correct for accurate tax calculation

D. Tax Changes and Updates

Tax regulations are subject to change. Be Strong Families reserves the right to update tax collection practices in accordance with evolving state, local, or federal requirements.

5. Shipping and Fulfillment (for Physical Products)

  • We currently ship to addresses within the United States for all online orders. For international shipping, please contact us to request a custom shipping quote.

  • Orders typically process within 2 business days. Delivery times vary based on destination. Standard U.S. domestic shipments are approximately 5-7 days. For expedited shipping, please contact us before placing your order. Extra costs may apply to expedited shipping.

  • Shipping costs and delivery estimates are displayed at checkout for online orders. For purchase orders, shipping details will be included on your Quote or Invoice.

  • Be Strong Families is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, or other factors beyond our control, nor are we liable for delays or losses due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

  • The customer should be responsible for the reshipment costs if the delivery issue is caused by an inaccurate address from the customer.

6. Digital Products

  • Upon successful payment, you will receive access to digital products through your account dashboard on our Site.

  • All sales of digital products are final and non-refundable once the download link or access has been provided, regardless of whether or not the product is downloaded or used.

7. Access and Delivery (for Online Training Services)

  • Access to online training is provided via a secure login or emailed link following confirmation of payment, or as specified in your purchase order invoice.

  • Live training sessions are conducted via Zoom on scheduled dates. Participants will receive reminder emails and access links in advance of each session.

  • Access to pre-recorded training content is typically limited to 12 months from the date of purchase, unless lifetime access is explicitly stated in the product description or purchase agreement.

8. Refund, Cancellation, and Reschedule Policy

       A. Physical Products

  • You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.

  • Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.

  • Shipping costs are nonrefundable. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the product is defective or an error occurs on our part.

  • To initiate a return, please contact us with your order number or invoice number and the reason for return.

      B. Digital Products

  • All digital product sales are final and nonrefundable once accessed or downloaded.

  • If you experience technical issues accessing your purchase, please contact us for assistance.

      C. Trainings (for Be Strong Families Institute)

  • Refund or reschedule requests must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the scheduled training date.

  • To initiate a request, please contact us with your order number or invoice number and reason for reschedule/refund.

  • If your reschedule request is approved, the credit (that will be communicated via email) will be valid for up to 6 months from the original training date. You may reschedule the same training course on a different date or a different training course of equal value.

  • If a trainee is unable to attend a training session (in full or in part) due to an emergency, they may request a reschedule within 2 weeks of the missed training date. Be Strong Families reserves the right to determine whether the situation qualifies as an emergency. If the request is approved, the rescheduled training must take place within 6 months of the original training date.

    • Note: A multi-day training (such as the Online Parent Café Team Training) must be completed according to the daily sequence for which it is designed. For example, a registrant should not attend Day 2 or Day 3 if they have not completed Day 1. If someone can not attend Day 1, they should request that the entire training be rescheduled.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the training date are nonrefundable. However, we request that you still notify us of your cancellation.

  • If a training or workshop is canceled by us, you will be offered either a full refund or full credit for a future session.

  • For subscription-based training or services, you may cancel at any time; however, no partial refunds will be issued for the current billing period.

     D. Refund Method

  • Approved refunds will be processed via ACH deposit or check payment. Customers will provide valid ACH banking information or check payable information to complete the refund transaction.
