Foothill Family
Funded through the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, Be Strong Families has been partnering with Foothill Family—a local family support agency—since 2017 delivering training workshops to their Relative Support Service (RSS) clients including: Trauma-Informed Practice: Using Lifebooks, Vicarious Trauma and Vicarious Resilience and Maintainng Family Connectedness, Parent Cafés, and an 8-week parenting program Living the Protective Factors Weekly Playbook. Through this agreement, Be Strong Families has consulted on meaningful parent engagement by partnering to plan and host well-attended caregiver appreciation events and resource-sharing events among providers and RSS clients in LA county.
