Greishen L. Rodriguez is a child welfare advocate and systems-informed professional with over 13 years of experience advancing the safety, stability, and well-being of children, youth, and families. Grounded in both lived experience and professional practice, Greishen brings rare insight into how child welfare systems impact families in real time. All aspects of child welfare matter deeply to her—from prevention and family support to reunification, permanency, and long-term outcomes for children and youth.
Since joining Be Strong Families in 2017, Greishen has played a critical role in supporting child-welfare-focused programming, training, and community partnerships. Her work centers on strengthening families, advancing reunification, supporting caregiver stability, and promoting trauma-responsive, protective-factors-based practice, with a strong emphasis on elevating family voice and community wisdom.
Greishen is known for her ability to translate complex child welfare concepts into meaningful, engaging learning experiences. She brings an inquiry-driven, relationship-centered approach to her work—balancing preparation, accountability, and care—while creating environments that invite reflection, collaboration, and growth.
A committed advocate for the welfare of children and families, Greishen has spent more than a decade working across systems to support safety, permanency, and equitable outcomes for child welfare–involved families. She believes sustainable change happens when systems honor lived experience, share power with families, and lead with humanity.
Greishen continues to invest in her professional and academic growth. She is widely recognized for her authenticity, warmth, and ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders.
At the core of Greishen’s work is a deep belief in connection. She values presence, humility, and relationship-building as essential tools for creating spaces where families, professionals, and communities feel seen, respected, and empowered.
“Strengthening families is how we protect children.”
