Marisol Ibarra Rogel (she/her) was born and raised in Mexico City and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico. After living in Oklahoma for years, she now calls Chicago home. Passionate about supporting families and immigrant communities, Marisol has dedicated her career to protecting children from abuse and neglect and ensuring families have access to the resources they need to flourish.

Marisol has over a decade of experience advancing child welfare programs, workforce training, and cross‑sector partnerships across nonprofit and for‑profit organizations. Skilled in bridging cultural and linguistic gaps, Marisol delivers inclusive, culturally responsive support for families, foster care providers, and early childhood professionals. She is recognized for leveraging bilingual communication to strengthen trust, expand access, and empower diverse communities.

As an advocate, a facilitator, and a mother, Marisol believes strong families are the foundation of thriving communities and is committed to creating inclusive spaces where parents, caregivers, and children feel supported and valued.

Her family motto is, “There are NO bad children. There are bad choices. There are bad moments. There are bad days. There are bad situations, but there are no bad children. Period”.
